Genomics and Systems Biotechnology Laboratory

Zhixia Liu earned her Bachelor’s degree in Bioengineering from East China University of Science and Technology in 2004. She obtained her Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering from Tsinghua University in 2009. Her research experience include: 1) Chemical modification of proteins. 2) In vitro protein refolding. 3) Investigation of structure-function relationship of proteins. She joined Professor Xiaohua Huang’s Genomics and Systems Biotechnology Laboratory in September 2009 and is conducting research on protein engineering and its application in DNA sequencing.
